Armed robbery at Wilsonville motel is second in two days

The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man who reportedly robbed a Super 8 motel in Wilsonville.

According to the sheriff’s Twitter feed, around 9:30 p.m. a man robbed the motel, 25438 S.W. Parkway Ave., at gunpoint.

The suspect is a white man, 35 to 40 years old, with dark hair. He stands about 5 feet, 7 inches, and has a tattoo on his left forearm. He was wearing a dark T-shirt with a large eagle screenprint on front.

Authorities warn he is armed with a handgun.

This robbery follows one early Friday morning, when a man reportedly used a gun to rob two female employees at La Quinta Inn, 8815 S.W. Sun Place in Wilsonville. The man tied them up, took money from the motel and the women’s purses and fled, according to the sheriff’s office.

That suspect is described as a dark-skinned man, 20 to 25 years old, a medium height and build. He wore a black ski mask, long sleeve shirt, and gloves.
