The New Top Chef Season Includes a Contestant from Seattle

The new, Houston-set season of Top Chef kicks off on March 3. Like last time around, Seattle has notched a local chef in the lineup of 15 contestants.

Luke Kolpin has worked at Canlis and as a sous at Copenhagen’s famed Noma—some legit highs in a career that began at Seattle Central’s culinary program. Perhaps this explains his presence at a benefit dinner put on last year by Shota Nakajima, the show’s most recent Seattle contestant.
