Portland city leaders announced that an outdoor ice rink will be opening in a month. In an effort to boost traffic downtown this holiday season.
PORTLAND, Oregon — Downtown business in particular could really use a good holiday season. On Wednesday boosters said downtown is the place to be.
“Portland’s spirit through the work of many in our community continues to shine brightly,” said Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler.
In front of a crowd at Pioneer Courthouse Square, the mayor and other city and business leaders big and small sang Portland’s praises and made a request.
