LANE COUNTY, Ore. – A Springfield woman has been sentenced to 15 years in prison after admitting to a disturbing pattern of child abuse, including the use of a stun gun on her seven-year-old son.
Heather Black, 36, was arrested in October alongside her boyfriend, Brandon Rogers, following a months-long investigation led by the Oregon Department of Human Services. Authorities say the couple subjected Black’s two children—a seven-year-old boy and a four-year-old girl—to repeated abuse and mistreatment.
