Nacheaux Opens Its First Restaurant Today
Almost a year ago, Anthony and Stephanie Brown opened a teal food cart in Southeast Portland. Nacheaux served tacos filled with cornmeal-fried catfish, quesadillas stuffed with fried chicken, and mac-and-cheese topped with crispy carnitas. The cart became a hit quickly, and today, the couple will open its restaurant on NE Fremont. The Browns will share a space with Blind Ox, a taproom and liquid nitrogen ice cream parlor, serving its assortment of Cajun-meets-Mexican fare for takeout.
