Kachka’s New Happy Hour Incorporates Mexican and Georgian Flavors
Kachka has reopened for outdoor dining, introducing a new happy hour incorporating the culinary influences of some of the other members of the Kachka team. Kachka chef de cuisine Francisco Leyva, general manager Anna-Lisa Chacon, and co-owner Israel Morales all have Mexican heritage, and the Kachka team decided to fold some Mexican flavors into the overarching Slavic themes at Kachka. That means the happy hour menu now includes things like queso fundido khachapuri and lavash nachos, as well as a take on a michelada made with the Georgian condiment adjika. Kachka’s dumplings and infused vodkas also appear on the menu.
