Former West Coast Game Park Safari Owner Sentenced to 7.5 Years in Prison

A Coos County judge on Tuesday sentenced Brian Scott Tenney, the former owner of West Coast Game Park Safari near Bandon, to 90 months in Oregon Department of Corrections custody—7½ years—in a case that began with a multi-agency investigation in May 2025.

The sentence also includes three years of post-prison supervision, $340,922.61 in restitution for animal care costs incurred after the seizure, and a 15-year ban on possessing or living with domestic animals or animals of the same genus involved in the case.
