Ecliptic will soon be brewing lagers in the former Base Camp Brewing space this summer. The Moon Room, Ecliptic’s second location, will allow the brewery to expand its offerings and ramp up production, with an onsite food cart and new beers coming to the space.
Ecliptic, currently based in the Eliot neighborhood off Mississippi, is the brainchild of John Harris, a brewer who started his career at McMenamins in the ‘80s. He worked at longstanding behemoths like Deschutes and Full Sail before he opened the space-themed Ecliptic in 2013. Ecliptic has accrued awards and nods from a number of different beer festivals and publications, including five in 2020.
