Central Oregon’s Food Scene Gets Major Upgrade With 10 New Trucks

Plans are underway to expand Bend’s food cart scene with a new hub slated to open near OSU-Cascades on the city’s southwest side.

Tucked behind the Powder House Ski and Snowboard Shop, the space will accommodate 10 food trucks by the summer of 2025. Owner Todd McGee outlined the vision: a 9,000 square foot, two-story taphouse featuring an event center and ten food carts.

McGee is initiating this food truck venture as the second phase of the property’s development. The first phase saw an expansion of the existing building which was completed last year.
