50 Glass Treasures Will Be Hidden Along the Oregon Coast This Halloween Weekend

There are plenty of reasons to wander an Oregon beach in late October. The Pacific gets moodier, fall storms begin rolling in with more frequency, and those gray skies and crashing waves somehow make a warm drink and a long walk on the sand feel even better. But this Halloween weekend, Lincoln City is adding something extra to the experience: actual treasure.

From October 30 through November 1, 2026, 50 additional handcrafted glass floats will be placed along Lincoln City’s beaches as part of the city’s beloved Finders Keepers tradition. They’ll be hidden somewhere along roughly seven miles of shoreline, and anyone lucky enough to discover one
