The Albany Police Department is continuing to investigate a tragic incident that claimed the life of 16-year-old Paige Michael Charlene McClintock on the evening of January 16.
Officers responded at approximately 10:08 p.m. to a report of a vehicle-versus-pedestrian crash on Southeast 19th Avenue near Southeast Tudor Way. Paige, an Albany resident, suffered critical injuries and was transported by Albany Fire Department personnel to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, where she later died despite lifesaving efforts.
Preliminary investigation indicates the vehicle involved was a white 2005 Nissan Altima driven by Paige’s older sister, 18-year-old Kirah Kristine McClintock. Police say Kirah cooperated fully with investigators and that impairment
