The nearly 130-year-old orchestra is finding a new chapter in bringing in new audiences with revitalizing downtown becomes central to its mission.
PORTLAND, Ore. — The Oregon Symphony is reimagining its role in Portland as it works to strengthen downtown, broaden its audience and deepen its community impact, according to President and CEO Paul Snyder.
In an interview on KGW’s “Straight Talk,” Snyder outlined how the nearly 130-year-old orchestra is positioning itself for the future while remaining rooted in artistic excellence.
