Vancouver Warriors fall to San Diego Seals, drop ninth in a row dating back to last season

The Vancouver Warriors were better Saturday but still not good enough to win.

Vancouver fell to 0-4 on the National Lacrosse League season and lost a ninth in a row dating back to last year with a 16-11 setback to the host San Diego Seals at Pechanga Arena. 

San Diego (4-0) is thought to be the class of the league this season after they loaded up in free agency. Vancouver hung tight with them for extended stretches but the Seals scored the final three goals of the second quarter to take a 6-4 margin into the halftime break and a 5-2 run in the third put
