Pro cycling is back in Vancouver with 2023 return of Global Relay Gastown Grand Prix

Professional cycling finally returns to Vancouver this summer with the return of the Global Relay Gastown Grand Prix.

Organizers are hoping to revive the excitement around the men’s and women’s criterium bike races through Gastown’s cobblestone streets after they were cancelled at the start of the pandemic.

The last edition of the races in 2019 featured 200 pro cyclists from 10 countries and had the biggest field of competitors in its five decades of existence.
