Canucks: Luke Schenn dealing with 'upper-body' injury

Three weeks out from the trade deadline, Luke Schenn is dealing with an injury.

He missed Thursday’s game for the Vancouver Canucks vs. the New York Islanders in Elmont, N.Y., because of what the team is describing as an “upper-body” injury.

It’s believed the bruising blueliner may have been injured in a hit on Artemi Panarin in the second period of Wednesday’s 4-3 loss to the New York Rangers. He went to the dressing room in discomfort for a time, thought it wasn’t obvious that he’d been hurt in the hit..

He returned to the bench in the third period.
