Canucks lose assistant GM Derek Clancey to Maple Leafs

The Vancouver Canucks’ front office continues to evolve.

Derek Clancey, the first person hired by Jim Rutherford when he became Canucks president of hockey operations in 2021, is leaving the NHL club to join the Toronto Maple Leafs, where he will be assistant general manager of player personnel.
