Bing Targets Seattle Consumers With Card-Linked Deals, Bargains

Consumers here in Seattle are the first to try out a new program from Bing, the search engine announced this week, which will automatically provide deal discounts via a user’s credit or debit card. According to Bing, Seattle area users who use Bing Offers to take advantage of deals, which automatically provides discounts and deals via a user’s registered credit or debit card. The program is being tested only in Seattle. The new program–“Bing Offers Card-Linked” is being run in conjunction with payment processing firm First Data and others, which will provide direct discounts via a user’s card when users make a qualified purchase. Bing said the new link would cut down on the hassles of redeeming deals, including removing the need to pre-purchase offers.
