Big Fish Boosts Board

Seattle-based Big Fish, the developer of casual gaming titles, said yesterday that it has named Silicon Valley investor Bill Lee to its board of directors. Lee was CEO and co-founder of Remarq, whcih he sold to Critical Path in March of 2000 for $265M. Lee also is an investor in Tesla Motors, Yammer, Posterous, SpaceX, Tweetdeck, Kelkea, Hootsuite, Peel, Playhaven, Appmakr, and Zaarly, as well as Social Concepts, which was acquired by Big Fish itself. Seattle-based Big Fish, the developer of casual gaming titles, said yesterday that it has named Silicon Valley investor Bill Lee to its board of directors. Lee was CEO and co-founder of Remarq, whcih he sold to Critical Path in March of 2000 for $265M. Lee also is an investor in Tesla Motors, Yammer, Posterous, SpaceX, Tweetdeck, Kelkea, Hootsuite, Peel, Playhaven, Appmakr, and Zaarly, as well as Social Concepts, which was acquired by Big Fish itself. Big Fish said that its acquisition of Self Aware Games actually drove the addition of Lee to the board, when “it became clear” that Lee would be an “exceptional addition” to its board, according to Big Fish CEO Paul Thelen.
