Two people are dead after a tree fell on a car in Fall City on Sunday afternoon, according to Eastside Fire and Rescue.
The incident occurred on the 7700 Block of Preston Fall City Road Southeast in Fall City, just east of Issaquah.
A strong storm system is currently making its way across the Puget Sound and is expected to continue through Monday.
Officials on the scene are asking people to avoid the area.
The wind has blown over trees and power lines across the region. About 166,000 customers are without power into Sunday evening.
