Puyallup teens raise money with fireworks sales

A youth group is working hard this weekend to sell fireworks. Profits help get them to camps. (KIRO Radio, Katharine Federer)

A group of teenagers is running the entire operation at a firework stand at Puyallup’s Meridian Town Center.

Organizer Chase Cummings said it was about five years ago when the youth group was trying to come up with ideas to fundraise so that they could pay for camps. Their plan was a fireworks tent.
