Former Seahawk Richard Sherman reveals counseling, medication after July arrest

Former Seattle Seahawk star Richard Sherman, who hit a rough legal patch over the summer, is heading east.

“I’m going to go play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Woo!”

The five time all-pro cornerback was all smiles as he made the announcement on YouTube Wednesday.

Richard Sherman signed a one year deal with the Buccaneers, although he says other teams, including the Seahawks, expressed interest. That despite challenges over the summer.

“Obviously, mentally, I had my moments,” Sherman said in the video.

Sherman did not specifically mention the five misdemeanors he was charged with in King County, after one night in July when his wife called
