Washington State Board of Regents chair says 'no one at WSU to blame' after Pac-12 implosion

Washington State is one of the few remaining schools in the Pac-12 after five schools departed the embattled conference on Friday.

PULLMAN, Wash. — Washington State University’s Board of Regents chair released a statement through the school’s YouTube channel Sunday night, saying she was “stunned” by the decisions of Washington and Oregon to leave the Pac-12 Conference.

Lisa Schauer said “no one at WSU is to blame” over the fractured state of the Pac-12, which saw Arizona and Arizona State, as well as Utah depart for the Big 12 Conference in addition to the moves by UW and Oregon to the Big Ten.
