Reports: WSU Defensive Coordinator Brian Ward to accept Arizona State D.C. job

Ward spent just one year as the WSU defensive coordinator.

PULLMAN, Wash. — After just one year in charge of WSU’s defense, defensive coordinator Brian Ward is reportedly leaving the program to accept the defensive coordinator position at Arizona State under new head coach Kenny Dillingham.

ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported the move on Twitter.

Sources: Arizona State is hiring Brian Ward as the defensive coordinator. He’s at Washington State and has recently been at Nevada and Syracuse.
