Chiefs drop three in a row to division foes.

SPOKANE, Wash. — The Chiefs were hoping the first month of 2023 would lead to a turnaround in the club’s season and lead them back into the playoff race in the Western Hockey League’s Western Conference. January had been less than kind though, as Spokane had gone just 2-6 entering the last week of the month. The club now had 3 more chances to improve their playoff standing, and they had to.
