We Needed This: Devon in Space Makes Fashion on the Fringe

If you can say one thing about local artist Devon Urquhart, also known as Devon in Space, it’s that she takes her fringe interests seriously.

She spent six years as head chocolatier at a shop in Pike Place Market. Her Etsy is stacked with prints of locusts she’s posed with (extremely) baby grand pianos, minuscule Rainier cans, and disco balls the size of a blueberry. As a ceramicist, she “was making vagina cups before anyone was making vagina cups.”
