VP Harris in Seattle to support Murray, expect travel changes

Vice President Kamala Harris is in Seattle today for the first time since her 2019 campaign.

Harris arrived last night at Boeing Field.

She is scheduled to speak at around 10:20 a.m. Wednesday at an event highlighting the government’s investment in clean school buses.

Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Michael Regan Michael Regan will join Harris. Regan said in a statement the bus program “is accelerating our nation’s transition to electric and low-emission school buses while ensuring a brighter, healthier future for our children.”

The Associated Press reports the Biden administration is making the grants available as part of a wider effort to accelerate the transition to zero-emission vehicles
