Tacoma offering grants for small businesses to replace broken windows

The City of Tacoma is launching a program to help small businesses replace their broken windows.

Tacoma has budgeted to help more than 100 businesses to fix their windows, estimating it will cost about $2,500 each. That money will come from the American Rescue Plan Act funding. The total availability of funds for this grant program is $300,000.

In a release from the city, it states that this program is “part of efforts to alleviate ongoing impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on Tacoma’s small business community.”
