Property Watch: An Upgraded A-Frame Cabin on Whidbey Island

This Whidbey Island bluffside home started life in 1972 as a humble A-frame with jaw-dropping views of Saratoga Passage, Mount Baker, and the Cascades. It’s all still there—it’s pretty easy to make out the home’s original shape if you look at it—but around 2010, it was reshaped into a more luxurious home with treehouse looks, serene landscaping, a network of decks, and even a guest house connected via bridge.
