Pacific Science Center Reopens After a 2-Year Closure

It’s been two long years, but Pacific Science Center is finally open again after it first shuttered its doors in March 2020. The interactive museum partially opened last fall for a special hockey exhibit, but as its neighbor Seattle Children’s Museum welcomed guests back in spring, PacSci remained dormant until just earlier this month.

“We are thrilled to welcome visitors back to PacSci for brand new experiences as well as familiar ones that our community knows and loves,” PacSci CEO Will Daugherty said in a statement. 

Visitors will find plenty of familiar attractions from Before Times: the Tropical Butterfly House and its 1,000 species of butterflies, the hands-on Tinker Tank Makerspace, the planetarium, and the ever-popular dinosaur exhibit.
