Cold temps in Seattle an issue Thursday, snow to continue Friday

It was snow earlier in the week, and now freezing temperatures are gripping the Puget Sound region.

Most observation stations are at freezing or below and that’s not expected to change today. The impact on you? Icy roads and slippery sidewalks.

Some of the coldest temperatures as of 4 a.m. Thursday were 27 in Arlington and Bellingham, 28 in Port Townsend, 29 in Bremerton and 30 at Joint Base Lewis-McChord and Mount Vernon, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
