Southeast Portland home burns in late-night fire

Portland firefighters responded to a two-alarm house fire late Saturday in Southeast Portland.

The fire broke out around 10:30 p.m. in the 7000 block of Southeast Martins St. 

When firefighters arrived, the front of the house was fully engulfed in flames, and the fire was elevated to second-alarm status. No one was injured, and the fire was brought under control by 11 p.m.

The cause and extent of damage from the fire were not immediately available late Saturday.
