Police in northern Idaho recover stolen guns

Police in the northern Idaho city of Coeur d’Alene say an anonymous caller led them to discover several stolen firearms stashed in an outdoor metal trash bin.

The Coeur d’Alene Press reports that police received a tip from a female caller who said the guns stolen in a recent burglary were inside a large trash bin near a local car wash.

Detectives found three shotguns, two rifles, and a .357 magnum handgun in the bin. Many of the guns were reported stolen during a burglary at a local business, TKS

Detectives found three shotguns, two rifles, and a .357 magnum handgun in the bin. Many of the guns were reported stolen during a burglary at a local business, TKS Painting. Investigators are still trying to determine who owns the other guns that were found in the bin.
