Pendleton man dies in single-vehicle crash on Oregon 37

A Pendleton man was killed early Saturday morning in a single-vehicle rollover crash on Oregon 37.

Jason Scott Broncheau, 40, was driving northbound on the highway about four miles north of Pendleton when his 2011 Subaru Forester drifted onto the gravel shoulder. Broncheau over-corrected, hit an embankment on the opposite side of the road and rolled into a wheat field.

Broncheau was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing his seat belt.

State police are continuing an investigation.
