Multnomah County rescuers search for lost hiker on Angel’s Rest

The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office activated a search and rescue for a lost hiker on Angel’s Rest on Wednesday, officials said.

The lost woman called 911 with her cell phone around 1:45 p.m. and told dispatchers she had become separated from her hiking partner and dog along the trail west of Multnomah Falls, said Lt. Steve Alexander, a sheriff’s spokesman.
