    Motorcyclist dies in crash with semi

    On May 28, 2016 at 9:34 PM Beaverton Police Officers responded to an injury traffic crash on northbound Hwy 217 near Walker Road. When officers arrived on scene they

    found a two vehicle crash between a semi-truck and motorcycle.

    BEAVERTON, Ore. — A motorcycle rider died in a crash with a semi-truck on Highway 217 Saturday night, police said.

    Beaverton police officers responded to the crash on northbound Hwy 217, near Walker Road at around 9:30 p.m.

    Investigators believe the motorcycle rider tried to pass the semi-truck, but may have clipped its rear bumper, causing the crash.

    The motorcyclist died at the scene. His name has not been released.

    The semi-truck driver stopped and cooperated with the investigation.
