Man injured in reported stabbing in Southeast Portland

One man has been taken to the hospital after receiving stab wounds in Southeast Portland, authorities say.

The stabbing was reported about 9:50 p.m. Sunday in the 8600 block of Southeast Ellis Street, but what caused the incident is under police investigation, said AJ Schaffer, a Portland Fire & Rescue spokesman.

The male victim was uncooperative with officers on the scene and has apparently non-life-threatening injuries, said Sgt. Pete Simpson, a Portland Police Bureau spokesman.
