There was a kerfuffle online where fans of Jollibee, the Filipino-founded fast food chain, believed the first Portland area outpost would open during the second week of May. That was not the case. Now, the company will open its Hillsboro restaurant on Thursday, May 30. Located at 10875 N.E. Cornell Road in the Tanasbourne Village, this marks the fried chicken and ube pie dealer’s first foray into Oregon.
Three days of gifts await eager Jollibee customers in Oregon. On day one, the first 50 guests in-store and in the drive-thru get a year of free fried chicken, or one six-piece bucket per month for 12 months, plus a T-shirt.
