Become a canyoneer in the Cascades with this local guide group

Ever tried canyoneering before? It’s a relatively unknown sport. Andrew Jimenez of Cascade Canyon Guides say 99% of his clients have never done it.

TROUT LAKE, Wash. — In this week’s Let’s Get Out There, we head to the beautiful canyons of the Gifford Pinchot National Forest to try some canyoneering.

Where else would you put on a wet suit in the woods and go for a hike?

“It’s a beautiful canyon about 30 minutes north of Trout Lake in the Cascade Mountains, Gifford Pinchot National Forest,” said Andrew Jimenez, owner of Cascade Canyon Guides.
