Why Pacific Northwest farmers are expecting a good Christmas tree harvest this season

Christmas tree farmers say the rain this fall has helped their harvest.

So just how good is this year’s Christmas tree harvest in the Pacific Northwest? 

At Trout Creek Farm in Corbett, one local Christmas tree farmer says he’s expecting a good harvest for all this year.

“All of the growers are going to have a pretty good year; there was some impact in August because we had those really hot days,” recalled Tom Norby, owner of Trout Creek Tree Farm.
