Two CBS execs shelved pending diversity investigation

NEW YORK – CBS has placed two top executives on administrative leave as it investigates charges of a hostile work environment for women and minorities at news operations in some of its largest individual stations.

Peter Dunn, president of the CBS Television Stations, and David Friend, senior vice president for news at the stations, are on leave pending the results of an external investigation.

“CBS is committed to a diverse, inclusive and respectful workplace where all voices are heard, claims are investigated and appropriate action is taken where necessary,” the network said in a statement.
