The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission announced Wednesday that it’s subpoenaing NIKE Inc. for information about “DEI-related” discrimination.
PORTLAND, Ore. — The Trump administration has filed a subpoena against Nike on claims that the company “discriminated against white workers” with its Diversity, Equity and Inclusivity policies, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) announced Wednesday.
The EEOC said it’s investigating Nike in response to “systemic allegations of DEI-related intentional race discrimination.” Court filings claim that Nike may have shown “disparate treatment against white employees, applicants and training program participants” in a violation of Title VII.
