PORTLAND, Ore. — Some of the Portland metro area’s top business leaders and elected officials met Thursday morning to discuss the future of spending on homeless services. The big question before the attendees was whether the Metro Supportive Housing Services tax, which currently props up homeless services in the region, should be extended or scaled back.
