PORTLAND, Ore. — Acclaimed Portland fine dining restaurant República will be opening on a tightly limited schedule after closing earlier this year amid concerns about immigration enforcement and declining tourism.
Co-owner Angel Medina recently announced that they are resuming service for a limited time from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday through Sunday.
“No timeline. No promises. As long as you keep showing up, we’ll keep doing it right,” Medina wrote. “It’s our way of keeping the space alive. Keeping the idea alive. And keeping our hearts open.”
