PORTLAND, Ore. — Reports of a $4.25 billion sale of the Portland Trail Blazers to Carolina Hurricanes owner Tom Dundon have left some fans breathing a sigh of relief and looking forward to a new era for the franchise.
Pablo Fuentes Tran, administrator of the fan site Pinwheel Empire, has been a Blazers fan since his teenage years. He said the Allen family, which has owned the team since 1988, left an important legacy.
