Portland mom explores psilocybin therapy to process grief after losing her son

On a Thursday in May, KGW reporter Stephanie Domurat and a camera crew were invited to follow a Portland woman’s psilocybin therapy session in real time. They met Danielle Klock at her Southeast Portland home, a year and a half after the death of her son.

“Being Jet’s mom was the most challenging and the most beautiful experience of my life,” Klock said, crying.

Jet Klock, who struggled with psychosis, ultimately passed away in September 2023 from complications of living on the streets. He was just 25 years old.
