Portland Community College president to depart June 30 under separation agreement with board

Portland Community College and President Adrien Bennings have reached a mutual separation agreement, with Executive VP Katy Ho named acting president immediately.

PORTLAND, Ore. — Portland Community College President Dr. Adrien Bennings will leave the college June 30 after the PCC Board of Directors announced Thursday that the two parties had reached a mutual separation agreement, with Executive Vice President Dr. Katy Ho named acting president effective immediately.

Bennings, who has led PCC for four years, will use family medical leave benefits through the end of the fiscal year, according to the college’s announcement. Her current contract ran through June 30, 2028.
