A year-old Portland fast food restaurant with big ambitions scored some culinary attention from a Food & Wine magazine burger ranking.
Face Plant, which opened in a former McDonald’s on Swan Island in 2025, intends to build the best-loved fast food brand with top-quality menu items and customer service, according to founder Matt Plitch. And it plans to make it all plant-based.
