PeaceHealth ousts Oregon CEO following ER staffing controversy in Lane County

PeaceHealth on Thursday announced that Dr. Jim McGovern, who was placed on leave amid a dispute over the awarding of a contract for emergency room services in Lane County, is out as its chief executive for Oregon.

The Vancouver, Washington-based system announced that Heather Wall will continue in an interim leadership role while recruitment moves forward. The McGovern move takes effect immediately.
