Oregon’s U.S. Senators Jeff Merkley and Ron Wyden signed on to a multi-state letter demanding that Starbucks “stop its illegal union-busting campaign.”
PORTLAND, Ore. — Over 100 U.S. lawmakers are throwing their support behind unionized Starbucks workers going on a multi-state strike Thursday.
Thursday morning, Oregon’s Sens. Jeff Merkley and Ron Wyden joined their 24 of their colleagues in a letter to the company’s CEO Brian Niccol demanding that Starbucks “reverse course from its current posture, resolve its existing labor disputes, and bargain a fair contract in good faith with these employees.”
