NEWBERG, Ore. — Just days after President Trump said ICE agents would avoid detaining hospitality and agricultural workers, potentially due to the economic impact, the White House is backtracking, saying there will be no exemptions when it comes to immigration arrests.
The news is disappointing to many in the wine industry who say migrant workers play a crucial role at our local vineyards.
